Genomics Core
The Genomics Core was developed based on SZBL's research directions and major projects. It mainly supports multi - dimensional omics research, aiming to discover molecular markers, targets, and mechanisms for precise disease diagnosis, classification, and treatment. It offers innovative omics tools from traditional high - throughput sequencing to single - molecule, single - cell, and spatial omics sequencing. Also, it integrates processes like sample prep, library construction, quality control, sequencing, data quality checks, and in - depth bioinformatics analysis, providing comprehensive omics solutions for internal and external clients.
The Genomics Core is currently equipped with a diverse range of advanced hardware and software systems, including Illumina NextSeq 2000 high-throughput sequencers, MGISEQ-2000RS high-throughput sequencers, Oxford Nanopore GridION+P2 Solo nanopore single-molecule sequencers, 10X Chromium controllers, GentleMACS Octo eight-channel automated tissue processors, Covaris S220 sonication genome shearing systems, KingFisher™ Flex automated sample purification systems, Biorad QX200 AutoDG droplet digital PCR systems, Agilent 2100 bioanalyzer, Agilent 4200 fragment analyzer, Beckman i7 automated liquid handling workstations, Beckman Echo650 automated low-volume ultrasonic liquid handling devices, and high-performance data analysis servers. The core also manages an electronically controlled gene ORF library. Dedicated to driving advancements in life science research, medical diagnostics, and personalized medicine, it aspires to become a world-class omics research core.
