The Aurora is equipped with 5 lasers, 3 scattering light detectors, and 64 fluorescence detection channels. Each laser comes with an independent spectrograph detection module.
The standard - equipped lasers have wavelengths of 355nm, 405nm, 488nm, 561nm, and 640nm.
1、 Autofluorescence removal: The strong autofluorescence of samples like yeast, tumor cells, and macrophages can interfere with dye - emitted fluorescence signals, jeopardizing the accuracy of flow cytometry analysis. But the Cytek® Aurora, leveraging the unique full - spectrum detection technology, can clearly distinguish and extract the autofluorescence signals, effectively removing them and thus improving data quality for more precise results.
2、Small particle detection: With its 100 - mW, 405 - nm laser and violet side - scatter (V - SSC) detector, the Cytek® Aurora is highly sensitive to weak scattered - light signals from small particles. It meets researchers' needs for detecting small - particle samples like bacteria, viruses, organelles, and microvesicles.
3、In - depth immunophenotyping: The Cytek® full - spectrum analysis technology and the powerful data - processing capability of SpectroFlo® software allow researchers to flexibly choose fluorescent antibodies in multi - color schemes. They can directly get experimental results and easily conduct complex immunophenotyping experiments. With 3 - laser 24 - color and 5 - laser 40 - color configurations, Cytek makes in - depth immunophenotyping simpler.
Before loading, filter the cells using a 70μm nylon mesh or 200 - mesh nylon screen. Adjust the cell density to around 1×10⁷ cells/ml, and ensure the volume is no less than 200μL.
