Mass cytometry: With a detection rate of 500 events per second and a sample flow rate of 30 microliters per minute. It can detect up to 135 channels in theory, and in practical applications, the number of detectable channels can reach 40.
Imaging mass cytometry: Capable of analyzing tissue samples with a thickness of ≤7 micrometers, it offers a minimum detection precision of 1 micrometer, enabling detection from the single - cell to the subcellular level. The scanning speed is ≥1 square millimeter per 2 hours (@200Hz), with 135 detectable channels in theory and up to 40 in practical use.
