YE Zhi-Qiang PhD, Director of HPC Core

Dr. Ye obtained a PhD in bioinformatics from Peking University, and experienced his postdoctoral training at Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, CAS. He is responsible for the construction and running of HPC and Informatics Core Facility. His previous positions include associate researcher at Shanghai Center for Bioinformation Technology and Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School. Dr. Ye has been engaged in bioinformatics research on disease mutation prediction, protein structure analysis, machine learning and database construction for a long time. As project leader, he has accomplished 1 project from China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, 1 project for youth and 2 general projects from NSFC. He has published over 20 papers in journals like Bioinformatics and Nucleic Acids Research.

ZHOU Zhuo Engineer

Mr. Zhou is responsible for the daily operation and management of hardware infrastructure, selection and evaluation of new equipment, development of automated operation tools, construction of website and documentation, user training, and technical support for daily usage. He obtained a master of computer technology, and is a certified network engineer.
